Are there any big differences between the different frames that were used for Jennings/Bryco?

I was prepping some frames to be rebuilt (32 ACP) and noticed that there were there was a crack in two of the Lansco frames (see pictures below). Besides being really bummed out, I noticed there is open space right under where the cracks are. And noticed that the El Monte Tool & Die is solid. Are the El Monte Tool & Die frames a bit stronger? Or does it come down to what caliber the gun is?

Lansco frames had the opening, and as you've found, it's weak in that area.
The El Monte Tool & Die frames and the International Die Casting frames are solid.
Bryco used this frame interchangeably for .32 and .380.
