Just wanted to let everyone know Freedom Munitions is offering free shipping through 09/30/14.
Thanks for the heads up hp.
Great prices. Just spent all my money on a gun, can't afford ammo!
Just ordered (250) rounds of 115 gr. 9mm new, (250) rounds of 165 gr. 40S&W reloads and a Box of (50) 180 gr. 40S&W XTP Hornady New.
Thanks for the heads up!!
I got 'the usual'. Two hundred fifty of the new 9 MM 115 g. FMJ and 200 of the Igman 5.56 55 g. FMJ.
Glad I was able to help some save on their ammo purchases. Their prices have gone up a little bit since the last time I bought from them. My last order from them was in 2012 before the presidential election. At that time I bought 2K rounds of remanufactured 115 gr. RN 9mm, 500 remanufactured 230 gr. RN .45ACP and 50 rounds of their house brand new 230 gr. hollow points. At the time they were offering free shipping on orders of $500.00+, my total order was $520.44. 2K rounds of remanufactured 9mm cost $357.96 ($178.98 per case or $8.95 per 50 rounds), 500 remanufactured .45 ACP was 142.99 ($14.30 per 50 rounds). The new .45 ACP hollow points were $19.99 for a box of 50.
They've also been sending me emails recently sometimes running daily specials, so keep your eyes open. They may run a daily special on something you need.
Be patient they do these sales every few months. Sign up to there email list.
A couple months back they had there labor day sale. Same deal free shipping.
I got 250 rds or .380 for $75 tax free shipping free. It was a good deal
First time customers get free shipping on their first order also
Veteran's Day - Free Shipping - 2 days only!
If you don't see free shipping, you're still likely to see $5 shipping from time to time. Have 1500 rounds of 9mm arriving tomorrow for $5 in shipping. Happy me
Only got 750 rounds (500 .40, 250 9mm), but I still look forward to "Free", for some reason I like that word!!
I dipped below my caliber "comfort" level on those, so had to fix that.
That would be a question to ask out of curiosity (caliber/round comfort level), but some things are better left unsaid
Just purchased 250rds of 9mm 115gr. for $53.20. Purchased 250rds of 223 a couple of months back and have had zero issues with this ammo manufacture. I will continue to purchase from Freedom Munitions.
Got an order less then 2 weeks ago but ordered another 250rds of 9mm anyway.
I have never had any problems with their ammo and consider it to be top shelf.
For you reloaders, their sister company (I think they're related) is also providing free shipping on bullets but this also ends today.
I don't mind answering. I like to keep at least 1000 rounds per pistol or rifle with the exception of my 30 ought 6 and my 22's for the 22 I want to keep at least 3000 per weapon for the 06 I like to keep at least 250 rounds. When I get my AR I will treat it like a 22.
I bought 500 9mm and 500 .40 cal. The .40 was almost down to 9mm price so I couldnt pass it up. Just havent got to the range in too long to see how it does.
Works Great. Ran a box through my Taurus 24/7 and a box through my 4095 last weekend. Fed great, ejected fine, went bang. Not dirtier than any other cheap range ammo I buy so all in all good stuff. I am almost exclusively ordering from them anymore for range stuff.
Of course my SD ammo is still a bit pricier...
I'm right along your lines 1k per caliber except 22lr, like to keep 2500 of those but close enough.
Still haven't decided on the .270 I'm going to get but I think 250 is a good number for a hunting round.
As for my Mossberg, I like to keep (50) 00, then another (150) of various shot for different game.
I just got an email alert stating Freedom Munitions is extending free shipping:
