This is a used Savage Model 311A SxS shotgun made for Ward's Westernfield. Good condition, locks up tight. Looks like it's been refinished. This is a good field gun but NOT a beater. Has the obligatory hairline on the right side. If you use it regularly you might want to pin it in 5 or 10 years. Small, so it's hard to see in pictures. Handles real nice. Asking $225 and will ship to your FFL. Good working man's gun at a working man's price. your killing me man lol. Let me do some number crunching but I can't make a guarantee, things are tight right now.
i use one of these i cut down for cowboy action shooting , 12 ga cut it down to 20 in barrels ,they were built like a tank , more iron in them then 2 new shotguns,
That's a real cheap price for that double, you may want to consider a on-line auction at one of those gun selling sites as it may surprise you what price it will bring.
I dont know if they are the same company or not, but that looks exactly like my stevens db's. I routinely desimate skeet with my 20 gauge. If I didnt already have one in 16 I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. Bump for a nice gun at a very good price.
I thought I'd offer it to HPFF members at a decent price before posting on Gunbroker. More interested in it getting a good home and I know you guys would take care of it. Sidenote: it is the same as a Stevens. Apparently, the 311s were made for several different companies. -'bridge
