At least her suffering is ended.

1:05 am, Saturday, May 13th. šŸ™

Even the folks at assisted living said she was a real treat, good sense of humor and made them laugh. ☺ This had been going on for a while, she had to move to skilled care nursing only about 2 months ago, almost to the day. I'm amazed at the good people in this field of care. Mom stayed at home as long as possible, her dementia just got too bad. She actually went to assisted living on her own request.

Bless you mom, I miss you already...

Mom & Dad's birthdays are 2 days apart, her's is first, but he's 4 years older, in fact. We all used to tease her and say "you're older than Dad!" 😹

I used to get one bog cake for them both, and we'd often do that on dad's birthday, especially if it fell on a weekend. Their last birthdays together, well, I got separate cakes and we did it a little differently. They both enjoyed it, but birthday forever was not quite the same because Dad passed away 3 days after #84

Wishing you and the missus well on this Mother's Day, @greg_r

Dementia sucks. Dad had it. My mom has it. Dad passed 2 1/2 years ago.

You were just talking about her a few days ago if I recall. Maybe she will pop in and say hello to you in the next few days . Dad came an visited my brother 4 days after he passed.

She is in good company, and with your dad now.

Sorry for this to happen like this.

My Grandmother also came to me in a dream after she passed away. The message she wanted to give me I believe was that she had graduated and made it to the Paradise of God. She made it a little past ninety years old in this life.

Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. My mom passed back in 1993 from cancer. She was only 52 years young.

My brother was coughing in his sleep. Dad came to him and asked if he had the covid. My brother told him "no." He said you will get it. You'll be okay.

My daughter, who also passed on Mother’s Day weekend, I am 100% positive came to visit my grandson a few days after she passed.

My grandson was playing in the living room when he stopped and looked up into the top corner of the living room and had a conversation with someone I could not see. I can still remember the conversation word by word today. I am getting goose bumps as I type this.

I have always thought children and animals see things that we as adults can not see. There was just no other explanation for some things they do, and I just never thought the "imaginary friend" was just not a good rendering of things I have experienced with children and animals.

I have always believed in the afterlife, but had to rely on faith. After my daughter came to visit my grandson I have proof enough to know that the afterlife is real.
