I am very impressed.Out of the box it shoots a tad to right and a smidge low.Very consistent.I will have to have a nice day to sit down and fine tune it.Hitting cans a 50yds was decent.
Heck I should have known it would be good.My last 2 High Points have shot good and lasted.
Anything I need to look out for with this gun?

Just read the owners manual and break the carbine in as instructed. You can shoot the carbine at any range and you will be happy to feed it. The only upgrade that is a must have is a charging handle that is countersunk so you can tighten the bolt that holds the charging handle firmly. Getting hit in the face by the bolt or charging handle aint no joke. I got mine on eBay.

Keep a eye on the mags, they always seem to be empty all the time.

  4. I have that same problem....was there a recall on this? :D

    Some problems

I had problems with my 995 and 4095 sent them back and they were repaired the list of repairs done seems to be some thing they missed on production because they shoot fine now

So "some thing they missed on production" caused a bulged barrel?
