Sig thought they had a contract with FHP. It was never open to a competitive bid. Glock had a fit, demanded emails texts etc. I think FHP already had several hundred pistols, unissued. Trainees were trained with them and the Gllocks at one point.

Glock ended up with the contract. (G45's!) Sig got the contract for the AR's.
