H1N1 quaranteen a block fm my house?

This h1n1 thing is out of control. True story , last friday my neighbor calls me from his cell 30 minutes from home (i live in the sticks) and says his kids are home alone and they called him and his 3 year old is not breathing and having siezures. Theyve already called 911 but they are at least 15 minutes away. So i rush over there and find her blue , not breathing but heart still pumping. They think she choked on a toy or someting. She wasnt , but was super congested and having siezures. I hold her mouth open, tongue down , tilted her head back and she took a deep breath. Starts breathing again but rapidly. Anyway their teenager is on phone with 911 operator telling her whats going on. He tells her what meds shes taking and i here tamiflu in the list . Then he tells operator they have swine flu. I think to myself damn. Ive got 3 kids at home but i aint leaving till help gets there. 1st on scene is fire dept. 2 trucks probably 6 or 8 guys come in. First thing they ask is about swine flu. Son tells them yes they have it. All men but 1 exit house. He brings over oxygen gets it set up , asked if i can hold mask on her and then he goes outside. About 5 minutes later ambulance shows up. Another few minutes pass finnally paramedics come in with masks, gloves and everthing else you see someone wearing at a toxic spill. But they take over and tell me to go outside. Firemen tell me they are gonna burn thier clothes, to burn mine. Then they tell me to come to thier truck and get sanitized , then strip down and hose myself off before i go in my house then shower and pray. I am a mechanic , and i stayed with the girl when the firemen wouldnt and paramedics had to get dressed up for fallout . WTF . I had my doc call me in tamiflu just in case. 8 days now and no symptons of flu. I just cant believe the fear this h1n1 has caused . Sorry for the long post just had to share this info. I guess the plague is coming

shooterZ - yeah, no doubt those folks in the tents are thinking it's another drill... and it likely is, but who plans the drills, and who tells them when to do what and where at? How many levels of planning?

Who knows if this is anything... was it the cure that killed 'em? Was the cure meant to kill or protect? Are there varying potencies of vacine tailored to various communities, a strategy? Sure i sound like a kook, but i'd rather have egg on my face a year from now than be sitting in mourning for my fam cuz I was afraid to imagine what OTHER countries have done to their citizens could happen here too...

sean, wow bro, hang in there, contact that old buddy or find someone near on the forum, sumthin man. I know some peo who store food & ammo thinking they'll lock themselves away when tshtf, but i'd rather have little or nuthin stored AND have like-minded friends, than have a tone of stores and no one else to stand back to back with.

PREP #1 has got to be finding trustwothy people to go through tough times with. G-d help us all maybe the toughest thing we'll see is a bad storm - but what a great thing to always have trustworthy friends! 8)
