Hi all,

Today I traded an H and R 'Topper 88' single shot 410 shotgun for a HI POINT 995! Plus a little cash too. It came with three magazines and a Tasco Red Dot.

I have been wanting a 995 for a long time, and I was finally able to get one! I took it out to the range today and put 70 rounds through it at 100 yards. I was on paper EVERY shot. It worked perfectly with NO jams or malfunctions.

I am SO happy with my new toy. I loved that shotgun, but I never used it really. I KNOW I will enjoy the 995 much more.

THe only regret about having the 995 (at least today) is that I did not have ENOUGH ammo with me at the range!

Just thought I would share!

Yes, I can always get another single shot 410. They are inexpensive to be sure.

I was just cleaning the outside of my new to me 995 and realized that the plastic stock is REALLY soft. The grip/magazine housing is even kind of 'squishy'. It's easy to 'deform' just by squeezing it with the thumb and forefinger. Are they all like this?
