Hi everybody,

NFG reintroducing himself. I'm Foolsgold39, a lurker who finally decided to step in from the cold and join you fine folks. I'm excited to get to know everyone.

I've done a bunch of stuff, but so far have spent most my time in the outdoor industry. Former long time whitewater guide, part time survival instructor and pro ski patroller. Current emt instructor and proud hi point owner. Anyway, that's enough about me. In all honesty I'm probably going to continue to read much more than I post, but in the meantime greeting to you all, and merry Christmas!

Sounds like you’re based in Utah, Colorado or Cali with that resume. I mean, you could be in the Northeast...but at under 5000 feet, is that really skiing?
