After lurking for many months I guess I should officially say Hi.

Hi.

I haven't posted before for a couple of reasons:

1. My HP's have no problems whatsoever.

2. I am pretty new to guns, so my 2 cents worth is actually worth quite a bit less than 2 cents. (usually)

I finally saw a question I could answer about where to buy HPs in Colo. so I thought I'd jump in.

This is one of the best (friendliest) forums I have seen on ANY subject.
All of you here, and your helpful information, were what finally convinced me to take a chance on Hi-Point.
Thank you,
John

P.S.
Since last night was my first post, I don't have any pictures prepared.
I WILL get to work on that ASAP.
And for you fetishists out there, I may even shave my toes so as to present a respectable picture.

Good luck to all of you, especially those of you who have served, are serving, or have family members serving our country.

John

Welcome to the forum from Greeley. Being in Loveland I assume you got your HP at Orchards. If I assume correctly, do you happen to remember if they had any of the carbines? The Big R here in Greeley never has any carbines, and I really want one.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for the welcomes.
Actually I've been cruising the forum since March, and I signed up in May
(the day before the site went down for a week).
To tell you the truth, I felt welcomed even before your welcome posts.
I've looked at some other gun forums and it's like driving past a pile-up on the highway, horrible, morbid curiosity makes you slow down and look.
This forum is more like getting home safe in your garage after seeing the wreck.
Okay, that was pretty corny, but it gets the point across.
Thanks to all of you

monr3721,
The last time I was in Orchards Ace, they had at least one 995,
they are on the rack with the other scary black rifles in the corner.
They also had a C9 and JHP.
There may have been others but I was mostly interested in 9mm.
Come on over to Loveland and take a look, they have some really good people working there.

Thanks and good luck,
John

Hi, my name is Broomhead and I am a HiPoint addict. Welcome to our support program.
There are five steps in this program.
Step 1: Buy a ton of ammo and send it down range.
Step 2: Buy more HiPoints.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 repeatedly.
Step 4: Snicker at all Gun Snobs for paying way too much, when their backs are turned.
Step 5: Happily spread the addiction to as many people as humanly possible.

Unfortunately, these are not steps to recovery. There is no recovery.
