Just throwing out an introduction. I am from NH and have had my c-9 for about 4 years. I was on this forum several years back but sort of wandered away. I hadn't seen my highpoint in quite a while as it was stored in my closet (not my carry weapon). Then a friend wanted to buy a cheap gun so I decided to sell him my highpoint. The sale fell through and then I decided not to sell after all as the gun was always fun to shoot. Now I am eager to get back into shooting this gun and maybe do a little tinkering with it.

awesome man. you are the first person i have run into who knows claremont. I moved away about 10 years ago, but i still head back every once in awhile to see my grandmother. she lives in New Hampton.
Visiting your grandmother is an awesome thing. My grandparents died in '02 and '03 and I can tell you I would give just about anything to visit them one more time

Howdy from Texas, BUT I was born and raised in Southern Maine [York County] and worked for many years in NH [Mostly Rockingham and Strafford counties]
I live in strafford county but was born in rockingham county and do a ton of work in york county. Oddly enough a few years back I almost moved to texas. I had work and an apartment all lined up and had an appointment with my real estate agent to put my house on the market but after flying down I decided the area was to busy for my family (right outside of dallas)

Yup know what you mean But the area I'm in is just east of Plano and it's about like Dover/Rochester just flat and wide and open. :D :D
That I could live with. But I gotta tell you Rochester has changed a lot in the last few years. I live in Rochester. I am getting kind of tired of it here because it is getting so busy always a new shopping center or something popping up.

My neck of the woods [Wylie] is growing but there are sections that are country also other places a few miles north are very country. It's a small city with a country flair [where else can you have horses and cattle on a main road :grinwink:]
