We live 60km from the Arctic Circle so have had to become my own gun smith.
I am also an instructor for the Canadian Firearms Safety Course.
Living here has it's challenges BUT when others have to pay THOUSANDS of $$$ to hunt I get to do it for less than $100 a year LOL.

Welcome from a place where I'm shivering just thinking about how and where you live.

My daughter just got back from Barrows from doing a "visiting nurse" stint for 6 months(during 24/7 darkness season). She sent me pics/video of when the natives had a whaling hunt and then cut it up once onto shore. Really neat.
