  1. Hello to everyone and thanks for letting me join.
From SW Michigan and love to shoot.
    Been a long time lurker.
Got a lot of good info and made my first Hi-Point purchase.
Picked up a secondhand 995ts this past weekend and have not got a chance to shoot yet but like what I see so far.

Big THANKS to the members whose post I read before joining.
They were a big help in making this decision.

    Best Regards,
    James

Welcome from Texas. Nice thing about the 995 is it is cheaper to shoot than the 4595.

  7. Thanks for the welcome Steve.
Had a chance to visit Texas years ago.
Was born and raised in Arkansas.
I agree with you about the cost of the 9mm ammo.
    I have 3 (995,PT99&P938)that use 9mm and a PT1911 that is a 45acp.

    Hi jamesray,
Nice to see another Michigander on the forum. We will have to get together some time and chat about Hi-Point firearms and Mich.

Trying to decide if my first Hi-Point carbine will be a 9mm or 40. 95% sure it is going to be a 40. My favorite handgun is my Glock 23 in 40 S&W. Probably order tomorrow, sleep on it one more night :)

  11. I just got my first one this past weekend. 995TS.
    I wanted the 9 as I have 2 semi-auto pistols that are 9mm.

I have waited a long time to finally get my HP.
When they first came out I just didnt like the carbines at all.
The TS carbines are pretty slick and I am pleased with my purchase.
Wont get a chance to shoot until this weekend but looking forward to blasting a couple hundred rounds :)
