I am having an issue that hopefully someone can help me with. I have a JCP 40, and having an issue. If I load the mag up with 10 rounds, slide into the gun, rack the slide, and it tries to jam 2-3 rounds up into the chamber instead of just 1. This happens with Blazer Brass and WWB ammo, but not with Federal Champion. The Federal seems to be a little wider for some reason, and snaps into the mag nicely, but the BB and WWB just kind of slide down in.

I always leave the magazine fully loaded when not it use. Would tweaking the mag lips help out with this issue??

Yeah it sounds like you need to tweak the lips. They actually sound like they're too far open and allowing more than one round to cycle at a time.
