    Hey all,
With fathers day around the corner I have been looking for websites that sell 995ts barrel shroud with muzzle or without muzzle brake. Anyone have info on this or photos of their set up with or without?

How has your experience been with the shroud and or muzzle brake after install?

I've got a shroud on a 995 with an ATI stock. No effect on performance, but IMO it makes for a better looking gun. I didn't go with a muzzle break.
Something to consider: some shrouds come with a notch that allows the iron sights to remain, while others require you to discard them. If you opt for the latter you'll need new sights or an optic... another Father's Day gift?

4595ts the barrel shroud does make it look better, in my opinion.

does nothing, adds weight, something else to remove when you have to clean it.

The "Homer" long tube scope! Which brand is that and how far out have you gone? That is a nice looking shroud. And keeping the front sight is nice.

Back before the snobs knew what a HP carbine was the front sight gave the TS a commieblok appearance.

The scope is just a cheap one off Amazon, haven't been able to test it out yet. Had my gallbladder removed Wednesday, so not doing much of anything right now. The sight will be removed when my muzzle brake arrives. The shroud is from Longshot, fits nice. Side view w/o the lens caps.

Been there done that. It doesn't cut very clean. (stuff from Hobby Lobby) minimal help. there is 3 mfrs out there. The HP pad is dang good. I bought a 995TS that had this one installed https://godagrip.com/cheek-pads-2/ the HP version is shipping included.

No experience with other than the factory compensator.

    Posts on this site have said that the factory comp. does these things;
    - protects the muzzle crown (darn right it does!)
    - tames muzzle rise (I can not tell... NASA thing I guess.)
    - some say makes the report louder (I can not tell... more NASA testing.)
    - looks "complete" (ditto)
    - adds 1.5" (if I remember right)

    I like mine. (1,500+rnds)
    - I like it a lot better with a few drops of blue loctite. (Less laughing at the range.)
    - Carbon buildup at 500 rnds... has not impacted POI.
    - Up close the finish is on the crude end of the scale (like a fav inexpensive tool rather than an over polished Snap-On.)

"Has a good beat, easy to dance to, I'd buy it."

You must be thinking of some other site, I don’t know why anyone on this site would say the comp “tames muzzle rise” when there IS no muzzle rise, it’s a pistol round, the muzzle barely moves to begin with.

I got 2 of these. They don't bother mentioning that you have to push the front sight back. I never contacted the to tell them they sent me 2 9's when I ordered one for the 4095.

hate to be "that guy" but that is a compensator not a barrel shroud.
