Been eagerly awaiting the release of the 3895 carbine. Alas, I have given up on it. I have converted my CF380 to a C9, and am pretty sure I'm going to add a 995 to the stable. But (there's always a but) I keep looking kind of sideways at the 4595.

Whichever one I get will be basically stock. Most likely a paint job, the 2 magazine carrier and maybe a co-witnessed red dot. Magazine compatability is not an issue, the 9's won't anyway and I do not have a JHP. Cost of ammunition is not really a concern as I reload for both rounds. Take the cost of factory ammunition out of the fray, is there any real difference in the two calibers? Which one to get?

    Thanks for Asking, 4095 FTW!
But some of the same arguments make a 995 w/NATO or +P
very attractive also. I am looking at the capacity question as
a big factor, but hooking up the hi-cap 1911 mags for a 4595
equals that playing field. If it's just a toy/plinker, waiting for
the 3895 makes sense as well. IMO, 4095, however... ;)

well i need to stay out of this poll BUT if it was me (which it aint) i would go with the 995 since the mags will work in the c9 if just for plinking and fun, or do like most of use on here get 1 of each, me included i have 2 995,1 4095 and 1 4595. And the 4595 is the only one that was a NIB when purchased.

If your just plinking the 995 is the way to go. The 4095 is more of a "you want to be a man, but aren't man enough for a 4595" gun.
If you want a bigger round, do it right and get the 4595.

995 is my favorite. 4095 second, 4595 last.

    995TS-4
    4095TS-2
    4595TS-2

If you are around on Saturday after Turkey day I can bring a sample of each for a test drive.

Might just take you up on that. Depends on whether we stay here or go to West Virginia for our turkey. Will let you know.

Looks like the 4095 is ahead. Why? Is it the caliber, or function?

IDK, but the 4095 has more downrange energy, holds one more round, and has a bit more range. If it is shorter range shooting, I'd use the 4595. I actually own all 3, but the 40 S&W is a bit cheaper and higher capacity, plus energy. That's why I voted for it.

Some of us do not need to buy a bigger firearm in order to boast of our Manhood ;)

PS: Make him bring AMMO, too!
He just got a big load of ammo in,
and it will make him go see the
AMMO QUEEN i to get more!

UndeRGRound nailed it. One more round, better energy, better range all means the 4095 is the right one.

Add in swapping mags with the JCP, and the .40 combo is the best way to go.

May I add my two cents worth?
Having owned ALL of them, I would pick the 4095 Camo-Classic. My 4095 happens to the best shooting gun out of all of them.

If you want to buy 11 HP carbines by Christmas, you had better get busy?
Let me know if you need some help?
Your right about that $$$ thing. I have bought way too many guns this past 3 months!
On that time thing< I have been on work restrictions for health reasons ALL summer.
