I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HI-POINT MODEL JHP 45 ACP THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE GRIPS AE SLICK---SHINY SLICK. I CONTACTED PACKMYR AND HOGUE AND NEITHER HAD ALTERNATIVES. I FORTUNATELY HAVE A PAIR OF STOCKTON'S PROFESSIONAL SHOOTING GLOVES. I HOPE THAT HI-POINT PERFECTS THIS; OFFERS GRIPS IN THE ACCESSORIES AS WELL AS holsters THAT WILL HOLD MY HI-POINT MODEL JHP 45 ACP WITH THE laser ATTATCHED. I JUST WANT TO PURCHASE ALL OF MY ACCESSORIES FROM HI-POINT SO THAT THEY CAN ALL BE MADE IN AMERICA.

GOD BLESS AMERICA,

YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOUT. WE CAN ALL HEAR YOU JUST FINE!!!

Try using a piece of bicycle intertube, I used a tube from my mountain bike (26"), makes a tight fit....I also use a "tube" on the grips of my SKS and shotgun....

As for a holster fitted for laser/light, try going to cheaperthandirt.com or sportsmansguide.com
Adjustable back straps and such would be good, so would rubber inserts in the grips.
Pachmyer and Hogue both make a large size for 4-5" semi-autos. The fit the C9/CF380, they should work with some elbow grease to fit the larger framed Hi-Points. They are stretchy, just be careful not to over stretch it.
Try taking the grips off. Using a sos pad(steel wool) with soap. Rub the grip side with the pad and warm water. Rinse and dry. You might try it a couple of time to git the desired look and feel. This removes the slick and shine look of the plastic...
