Went by my local GM store and was surprised to see all 4 HiPoint handguns, one in each caliber, on display. The prices were right too. Usually they might have one stuck in the corner of a dusty display case with a burned out light. These were front and center though. Good to see.

    I don't shop @ GOUGER Mtn. anymore!

I couldn't begin to tell you how many times their firearms clerks ragged on me when I would ask to see their Hi Point selection. You would have thought I asked for ANTHRAX or something? I would pay DOUBLE someplace else, same thing with DICK'S!

They should wear CLOWN costumes as uniforms while at work!!!

Gouger Mountain can kiss my slug-white, untanned, no sun gett'n butt.

They screwed me one too many times. I'll only shop there if I have no other choice.

    Peace favor your sword,

As long as you have GAS in the car & $$$ on your CC, you have a CHOICE!

Locally, I have a place that the 9, 40 and 45 are all under $140, and last I saw the .380 was $124 but might be $129 now. Carbines as low as $244 for the 995TS

Tell us how you really feel Macho!
  9. Gander can't beat this price.

5 years ago I bought a Mossberg 12 ga. from Gander.Paid cash.Waited and waited for NICS to proceed.I got a delay.2 weeks later,no proceed. Now they could have went ahead after 3 days and gave me my gun. But no,they insisted I wait for a proceed.I got my money back and bought the same gun at a local dealer for a bit more.No wait, my proceed went right through.
I'll never buy from box stores again,no matter how good the price.

yup I just got a 995TS FG for $269 at Vance Outdoors in Columbus.
    The C9's were $139.99, 40 and 45's were $179.99
    4045's were $319.99
    4545's were $349.99

Vance's has one Hi Point or another on sale every month. I bought my 1st two HP's there. You should really stay away from there!

I got my 4095 for just a bit more, but my 4595 was $309... dressed out.
    I think the 4095 was $275-$279 cuz I paid $285 for my KelTecSub2000
at the same place. That was a Screamin' Deal! 40 S&W on the KT...

They are a relatively new LGS, and they went on a 10% max markup for
firearms for a long time. Many are now just around 15%... The HP pistols
were even less! I paid $129 for 2 new C9s ($129 each). I believe my JHP
and JCP were $134 or the current price, $139. I always pay wit cash to
    avoid the 3% debit/credit card fee. :D

Melvin and galloway, although I'll safely assume you're in galloway, are you in the Columbus area?
  19. You guys don't want to know what they cost in my area. A C9 at one of the shops here is over $200.
