  1. I heard rumors that H&K will actually be marketing a semi-auto version on the civilian market this year. Have they finally stopped hating the general public and changed their ways???

dunno but i saw an hk416 upper sell for $3500 recently.

  3. P.S. IMO it's a POS. If it cost $600-$800 I'd love it, but no reason to spend the money on one when you could fill your gun rack with AR-15's that work just as well for the same price.

i heard the same thing but i dont know if it has any truth to it.. i've also heard they tend to be more reliable then the ar-15..

i guess we'll have to wait and see but knowing hk it will be overpriced.
  5. I want to see how that down force bolt will hold up. Seems like more stuff to go wrong???? I believe in K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid!!!)

A gas operated 416 will be going long after your rack of AR-15s has given up the ghost.

the difference is in the gas system... the ar runs hotter and not as clean as the HK which equals better reliability and a longer life.
