Got my Hogue Universal Grip yesterday and put on my c9, man what a difference it makes. I did have to trim the bottom edge just a little, but other wise it fit fine and feels great. Thanks for the tips.

+1 on the Hogue! It is the best (and cheapest) mod Ive done on my C9. It makes it more ergonomic and easier to point and shoot. The palm swells are what sets it aprt from other "slip on" grips. IMO :D
O yea I didnt have to trim mine?

I was happy with the Hogue I had on mine too.
I've got a Hogue, trimmed it a bit at the bottom and the back where it touches the webbing between your thumb and trigger fingers. There was a bubble there that drove the #ELL out of me!!! Mind you the bubble is still there but a lot less noticible. Love it, I also got a custom Hogue grip for my P89 and want to aget a universal for my Sigma.

Sounds like I might like this on my c9! Do most dealers carry or can I get online? How bout that fobus holster where can I check those out?
I got this grip for my .45 last year. Man what a difference. All the gun shops Ive been to sells Hogue.
I ordered mine online from ebay

For the Fobus, just do a search for the Fobus HP-2 paddle holster and you should find plenty of online dealers. I paid like $18 plus shipping, this holster is worth every penny IMO. O yea it says "Made in Israel" on it so it has to be quality :D
FWIW a bike innertube is about 4 bucks and its just as good as a houge IMHO.

I got my hogue for $9.95 at the local shop. It makes a world of difference. I have to say in my opinion, it works much better than an inner tube. The inner tube will leave a crazzy smell on your hand, and it doesn't have the finger grooves.

just bought one today and i trimmed the top of mine also, i live it and it makes it look even more bad ass, just wish i could get rid of that bubble on the back also
For $8.99+tax, you can't beat the Hogue grip. I have them on both my autos and they are super! The secret is the palm swell areas. The inner tube DIY don't have them so you must stick some extra rubber under those which is difficult. Save yourself some pain and spend the extra $4 bucks. Plus the Hogue is more aesthetic.
Have the Hogue Handall on all three of my Hipoints as well WHAT A DIFFERANCE allot more commfort for $6.99 plus tax not to mention the WOW factor. Best thing I've done to them

I used the Hogue handall 17000 for both C9 and .45JCP.
The straight part of the grip is the top of the grip and is embossed with "up" on the inside.
Take a little effort to get on right but once you have it located the way you want it
you need to work the backstrap part of the hogue grip down and the finger grooves up. What this will do is get rid of the pucker on top of the backstrap. On the C9 you will probably have to trim the bottom with a razor using the space between the clip mag as a guide
