Considering this is a Hi-Point forum I am surprised it wasn't a big black C9.

I usually carry my EC9S or Taurus Spectrum. I tried carrying both at the same time but didn't like it. With a coat on I like carrying my EAA B6P Compact with 13 rounds.

I can't get my finger into the trigger guard on the spectrum in a timely manner.

What is the little pocket above the main pocket on the right side of denims called? Is it a coin pocket? Or?? Anyway, on my denims the Spectrum fits snugly, nose down, into that pocket. No holster needed and a t-shirts covers it. Very handy. The tip of my finger just barely fits inside the guard but it fits. You don't need to worry about an accidental discharge if you touch the trigger as it has a very long pull before discharge. There is no pre-load or pre-cock on the striker so you are basically shooting a revolver on double action only.

It's a watch pocket, for when watches were big, needed wound, and didn't fit in phones or on your wrist. Carried one all through high school and for a couple of years driving truck

I once carried thirteen model 1903 Springfield rifles from my uncle's car to his new house without dropping any...

I like the Spectrum. Very small, light weight, low recoil and easy to carry. Haven't had any malfunctions of any kind. The only con for me is the long trigger pull and reset. Its like carrying a revolver. No safety needed.

It doesn't have that super short Taurus reset like the G2?

No sir. It is very long reset. Just like shooting a revolver on DA.

Yeah it does. When you get familiar with the trigger pull, you can easily feel the crisp break point which makes it easy to stay on target. No cure for the reset though.

Would you do a review on the Spectrum for the Articles section?

It depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing.
    Usually just the one
But I've been known to carry up to three.
    Always be prepared ...
