How To View The Space Station With The Naked Eye From Your City

They refer to it as the ISS (International Space Station).

The thing is two football fields in size and they say it will appear as the brightest star in the sky at the time and at the coordinates you get from the first linked page.

The only problem is it's only visible for a very short duration, usually less than 3 minutes.. and only then if you can locate it quickly with the provided info ^-^

Still, thanks for posting, and yes it's worth taking a minute to check it out. I would suggest some good binocluars, but don't bother with a telescope (very hard to follow and keep it in your field of vision).

The ISS is very bright, and a little smaller than a dime through some 40x binoculars, and moves across the horizon very quickly (here in Alabama anyway).

Saw it a few years ago fly over when we were at a friend's house for a summer party...was pretty cool...and its only half the size it was supposed to be...don't know if they will ever finish it at this rate...
