Here is the start of it. It should match the 4595 I just painted.
First coat of paint
Flash Gordon goes HiPoint or what?
Flesh Gordon? What a crappy bad porn flick..............
Clear coated and drying
So I let it cure for 7 days. Paint chips of easy. So took it in the house and am going to let sit a few more. If it still chips will have to start all over.
Did you lighten it an ounce or two removing all that metal? Someone got a bit carried away with their dremel.
Man, I have seen some pretty good repaint jobs on Hipoints, but I just leave mine basic black. It looks like the OP is having some issues here.
I might have was really bored that day. I smoothed the edges and basically just took off the paint. The metal file is mostly from a lawn mower blade. But did take some metal off. It was a free gun and the metal work was bad looked like they made the upper receiver but never cleaned the edges or sides. Just painted it and shipped it out. If the paint doesn't cute soon and stay will have to start over. Either way works for me. Have a different paint scheme in mind all ready.
I checked it and the paint was good. Just needed a few more days to cure. Took it out to the range and zeroed it in with a rear peep sight. Shoots great will post a pic of it soon.
Took it out and shoot it shoots great
