Hi-Point Firearms Forum, "Code of Conduct" & "Terms of Use".

Your registration with this community and/or the use of this community's membership features indicates that you accept and understand the Code of Conduct and the Terms of Use.

* No foul language. We are trying to maintain a family environment and such language is not appropriate. Also, do not post curse words that are deliberately misspelled or have special characters inserted in them to avoid the bad word filter.

* While debate and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Light-hearted ribbing is OK, but remember that stuff doesn't translate well into text. Others may read it and assume it's a personal attack. If they misconstrue your meaning you should edit your post and clarify your meaning. It's best to make sure that people know you're joking. Our decision is final in these matters.

*Do NOT post the same or similar thread in multiple forums. Select the forum best suited for the topic and post it there. Multiple postings with the same subject matter by the same member will not be allowed.

*Do NOT reopen threads pertaining to subjects that had previous threads closed.

* Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such to increase your Post Count. Post Whores will be dealt with accordingly.

* Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum E-mail and Private message system to spam other members.

* We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate our community standards. We shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

* Discussion of illegal activities involving Hi-Point Firearms Forums members in any way is not allowed.

* While its OK to discuss reloading methods and procedures the listing of "Powder Charge Weights" for any "Smokeless or Black Powder Cartridge" is prohibited for liability reasons.

* Certain subjects are simply not welcome.
- Racist/sexist/homophobic/anti-X religion posts displaying prejudice, hate, or offensive language will not be tolerated. Pro-hate group posts, links to their sites, etc. won't be tolerated either. Pictures or links to pictures of dead people, or video of be-headings, torture or other sadistic acts are also not welcome. Postings of pornographic images, or links to pornographic sites are grounds for immediate and permanent banishment from Hi-Point Firearms Forum.

- Blatantly sexual posts with "Gee, I'd do her", or anything of the like... are gone. No measurements for guys' or gals' specific parts, posts with nude pictures or links, or any discussion that one could not have in a conservative office environment will be allowed. This means no "dirty" jokes that you couldn't tell a mixed crowd in your office. "Racy" might be OK, but out and out "dirty" is not, once again if there's a complaint it's gone.

* Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

*Avatars of your own choosing are allowed as long as they are tasteful in content, and conform to the rules above. The Administrators and Moderators "DO NOT" want members using the avatar system to make sexually suggestive, extremely bigoted, or religious statements. They should be used to express your likes, loves, and individuality. Signature lines fall under the same rules and regulations as your avatars. If your signature line doesn't meet the above rules, it isn't allowed.

* We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

* Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

* We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.

* If you have an issue with something or somebody on the forums, please contact a Moderator or the Administrator. Posting "why did my thread get locked/deleted" likely will not get the desired answer and will in all likelihood be locked. However, sending an E-mail or PM to the moderator/administrator will get you a complete response/explanation. If you do not like the answer you get, you are welcome to e-mail or PM me, Jones. ([email protected])

Above all, be respectful and do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Conduct Unbecoming a Member

Any HPFF member who conducts themselves in such a manner that breeds contempt/discord among the members, causes undue strife or disrupts the Harmony of the Hi-Point Firearms Forum, will be subject to, upon review and ruling by the Staff of Hi-Point Firearms Forum, a Temporary Suspension of posting priveledges or a permanent ban.

Such conduct is defined as, but not limited to, violations of the Code of Conduct & The Terms of Use, or any act in word or deed that could
be considered a violation of Common Courtesy, basic politeness, Socially Acceptable Behavior and Common Decency.

So, prior to posting a new thread or commenting in an established topic, every member of HPFF is required to consider how the theme, content
and interpretation of that post may impact other members here on the forum. As a guide, if you post contains something that would
offend/up-set your Mother, Wife, child, Clergy, Grand Mother, etc then it most likely will not be appreciated or appropriate on HPFF.

Anyone posting remarks that serve no other purpose than inflaming an argument, otherwise known as "pot-stirring", is subject to suspension or ban at the sole discretion of the HPFF staff. Additionally, threads that serve no pupose other than inflaming attitudes about any given subject,
regardless of intent, will be removed. This will be done with or without prior notification by HPFF Staff.

Any member who violates these rules MAY or MAY NOT recieve, one warning via private message. Again, this is at the sole discretion of HPFF Staff. If so warned, any further infraction, after that ONE and ONLY warning, disregarding this rule will result in a permanent ban, no questions asked.

HPFF is a place where people from all walks of life, different nationalities, religions, geographical regions, and economic classes come
to talk about 1 common thing: The love of shooting. As HPFF Staff, we have the time-consuming task of the day to day upkeep and moderation of this website and have been carefully selected to be the best possible to make the HPFF a great place for everyone to enjoy. We are human, and we are also volunteers doing a job that is under appreciated, on our own time, for no monetary gain whatsoever. All Mods/Admins were hand selected by Jones, sole owner of HPFF, and we act in the best interest of the forum at all times.

As Moderators/Admins of HPFF we expect to be treated with common courtesy, and will not tolerate disrespectful comments, or personal attacks from members. This includes (but is not limited to) comments about "power-trips", back talking, ignoring, ridiculing, accusations concerning removal or editing of posts, or behavior that is explicitly intended to discredit or abuse the staff.

If you don't like that, leave, or just hang around, we'll get rid of you eventually.
