I finally got to the gun range with my new .45 Hi Point! My step son and I put 75 rounds through it with no jams, no mis feeds! He was surprised how little recoil there was! I love my .45!

The JHP's weight is a double edged sword. It is heavy, but that weight also serves to soak up alot of the recoil.

I'm a big guy and it really doesn't feel all that heavy to me. The JHP just feels niiiice!
