They have. BUT if you notice when you go to create a new post, you have the option to create it as a long form article or a regular discussion. Kirk and I have discussed creating a central area to gather the articles so once you write it and post it, we'll either move it to the article section or have you create it in the article area. We can no longer promote discussions to articles so we need you all, as the authors, to create the articles for us to organize. If we feel something you've written is article worthy we may ask you to copy and paste it in to a new long-form article post for us, so you still get credit for it.

Basically we can no longer promote, publish, or control the creation of articles at all. The only things we can do is ask you to repost it as an article and help you with the editing process, or steal it and repost it as an article under our names and you don't get credit.

Premium memberships automatically come for free as long as you keep writing articles. Otherwise we have to beg the evil Overlords to do everything for us. I've been stripped of even more power than during the last software change over, and Kirk lost his baby.
