I sold my 995ts!! Call it a moment of weakness. Actually it wasn't. I sold it for $240.00. I hadn't been shooting it, and I've had my eye on a few other guns. I kept my 4595ts. I've been buying and selling a few lately. It's the only way I can get new guns. My wife won't let me buy all the guns I would like. Thats probably a good thing. Still Gotta pay those pesky bills. Damnit to hell!
There's nothing wrong with selling a gun you've lost interest in to afford something new. Like you, I can't afford to buy all the guns I'd like so selling frees up funds I can use to try different guns. I also relate to letting the 995 go and keeping the 4595 -- I'd probably do the same thing. Let us know what you pick up to try next.
I definitely keep you all posted. I've had my eye on the Bersa thunder pro .45 uc. Also the Walther CCP. Maybe a JHP .45 to go with my 4595ts. Decisions, decisions...
If you are into 8 shot 9mm pistols with zamac slides why not also consider a Hi Point C9? In any event good luck in your perusal of a new gun!
*** Update *** So this is what I bought with the money from the sale of my 995ts + a little extra. A Golden State Arms Corp " Santa Fe Granedier" model R-169 chambered in 30.06 with a Bushnell "Scope Cheif" 4-12 x 40 scope mounted. And, a Gabilando y Cia Elgoibar Espana "Llama" .380. This one is the model II manufactured btwn 1933 and 1954. It was missing the magazine which I found on ammoclip.com for $42.00 shipped. Took them both to the indoor range today. The rifle was awesome! I didn't have to adjust the scope at all. Shot about 5" high at 30 yds, perfect. The pistol was pretty flawless as well, although I was only able to hand feed one bullet at a time. It's a little small for my big hand. The hammer was pinching me a bit, but I just love this thing! All in all, I am very pleased with them both. Pics to follow...
:wah: :wah: :wah: Just shot my 995TS again, after a long lay off, it was... perfect... Straighten your old lady out and get another 995!
Maybe I'll get a monkey gun. I really like the way they look. But I don't regret the decision. These two guns are awesome! They may not be that desireable, but to me they are very cool.
