I told my son-in-law (Glock 19, Rock Island Armory 1911 in 9mm) that I bought a Hi-Point C9. He was shocked and upset. Gotta admit the thing isn't all that accurate..

Oh wait a minute, it is pretty accurate. 9 rounds here at about 10 yards.

    But it's not reliable...

Oh, wait, the RIA 1911 9mm had a jam every magazine that day... the Hi Point had none... (we weren't shooting the Glock, which admittedly is accurate and reliable)

Hmmm, well it's junk, junk I tell you! Except it shoots straight and doesn't jam. Ah well.

    I like it.

That accuracy is terrible, something must be wrong as you missed the screw.

My HP 40 is more accurate than my sig p250 9. But the sig has a crazy long trigger pull. I love my hi point and my only complaints are heavy weight and weird looking magazines. For the money hi point is way under rated.

Hello and welcome. Looks like you shot a pretty good group there with your new C9!

Welcome from Virginia! I have a C9 and a JHP that both do the same crap! They say bang every time & shoot where I point! Two POS!

I suggest you drag it a few miles down a dirt road, this will help "loosen up" things a bit and it will shoot smoother. Try doing that with a glock.
