I am going to make a mag. pouch for my 995. The sky's the limit when it comes to leather. I've even made coasters for the kitchen. I am full of ideas so I don't know what I will come up with next.

  3. Aweome work!!

How do you get the leather to mold like that? Looks great. I would love to be able to make something like that but I am not nearly that talented.

    Good jorb!!

That's shore some pretty leather work there!

Bobotec, soak the leather in water, then vacuum pack it with the gun in it? I'll bet that would work...

What about the metal gun? Is rust not a factor?

Not if you only leave it in there for a few hours

The gun is wrapped with several layers of plastic wrap. I then dip the holster in warn water, shove the gun in holster in and use a leather rubbing stick to bring out all the details and let it sit overnight.

  8. Wow...... that's some nice work!

  9. Very nice!! I really like the barbed wire border...that sure would make good duty leather for me. :D

  10. Joebob, that's great work!! Is that a single mag pouch or a double? If it's single, how hard would it be to make a double mag pouch?

  11. Utterly outstanding!
