I lost my possibles pouch in the Great Fire of ‘99. I have had several since then, but nothing I was really happy with. And the old bag I had (I think it was a CVA kit) I just have never been able to find , at least in good enough shape to interest me.

While SWMBO was recovering from her surgery, I was killing time on the web and came across a Chinese Type 56 Drum Magazine Pouch. It was less than $8 and I just thought it was kind of neat, so I ordered one. It showed up yesterday. Immediately upon opening it the thought that this is what I have been looking for in a possibles pouch hit me.

It is perfect! A couple of stock photos and one of it in my hand.

That looks good. I got a U.S. bag, that I think is a canteen bag, that I used to carry. I have really downsized over the years. I carry a small Allen brand that has 2 zippers, that I use now.
