Indiana CCW address change

I recently moved and need to change my address with the state police. Do I also need a duplicate CCW license to reflect my new address or can I keep my current one and save the $20? I can't seem to find the right answer but the form does give you the option to just change your address so I can only assume that it's ok. Anybody have any insight for the state of Indiana? After all, our license here is only a pink piece of paper.....thanks!

I've googled it believe me and there is no clear cut answer. I thought someone on here might have had experience with it so that's why I asked. I will just make a phone call to get it cleared up.

I'd definitely err on the overkill side...... Too much at risk not to.

Your Google Fu is no good.

    http://www.in.gov/isp/2828.htm

Look on the left side of page, and click on "Name or address change request" to download form. Fill out appropriate blocks. Mail in.

Send in $20 with the form if you want a duplicate license that shows new information, but it is not required. Only NOTIFICATION of an address change is required (within 60 days IIRC).

That's what I was getting too but didn't see the "is not required".

In Missouri you get your CCW permit issued by the sheriff of the county you reside in. If you move to another county you have 30 days to get a replacement permit. $10 fee.

I just went through this last week.

I'm from a state that doesn't give a shizzle where you are or what guns you have. Move to VT! ;)

For all the Hoosiers out there. If you already have a license to carry and your address changes; all you have to do is print out the address change form and send it in free of charge. Your actual pink license does not need your new address, just the state police need to be made aware of your new residence.
