I was there, in Washington, on 9/12. The crowd attending was angry; at corruption, at lawmakers that see us as the *little people* (Biden in a speech), at an overreaching government, at transforming the USA into the USSA, at a Royal Congrass (yeah, I know how to spell it) and so on... But very little partisan side-taking, in fact, the overwhelming sentiment is that we need to replace the entire Congress and the White House.
However, all that said, this was the most polite, civil, event I've ever attended. I never heard an angry or upset person. In the press of all those people together, you could not avoid bumping, pushing, getting pushed, stepping on toes. But it was always, "Sorry", Pardon me", "No problem", "That's all right", just a lot of very good folks.
And thousands of clever, creative signs and slogans reflecting the concerns of "We the People."
