Is Melvinitis creeping in?

Discussion in 'Hi-Point Carbines' started by adam01364, Aug 13, 2015.

  1. How did this happen?

I started out with just one single 995 carbine.

I always thought that it took two to procreate... but now I've got six (Seven, if I include my 4595).

    Is it imaculate gunception?

Or, perhaps just a mild case of Melvinitis?

I can't tell, I had the same thing happen before Melvin got infected, but his malady was a whole new level of infection.

I think they are born pregnant, there's just no other way.

That's so funny! And you thought you had only 3! You might need to seperate them - next time you look you might have 12! ;)

Yes my friend, You have got it BAD!

I just picked up number 59 today, my 3rd JF-9. BNIB, never been fired, with all the original paperwork & box. What a find!!!

$185 complete with FFL, I can remember 1 year ago, I would have given $300?

Don't you also have a Nickel Stallard JS-9? Just how many HP's do you really have?

  8. Well, technically there are only three 995TS, two 995 Classics, and one with the ATI "forbidden stock". There is a new TS stock on the shelf ready to convert a classic; I haven't decided yet. And I've retained a classic "cloaking device" in the unlikely event that the ATI has to go back to the mothership at some point in the future.
Not enough. Bear in mind the Hi-Point pistols are not on the nice list here in mAssachoo$hitz so they are very rare here; with the exception of the nickel Stallard (a warranty replacement by Mom) every Hi-Point pistol has been purchased piecemeal and assembled from frames and parts kits. If nothing else I am dedicated to the hunt much as Melvin is; I just have significantly smaller hunting grounds. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have these Hi-Point pistols.

    9mm: 2 C9, 3 Stallards (1 is nickel), 6 995 (3 TS, 1 classic black, 1 classic chrome, 1 ATI).
    40: 1 JCP
    45: 1 JH, 1 JHP, 1 4595

Exactly! To be fair tbough, he did offer to sell me one of the TS's, but then I was able to order from my lgs' website after all. That is probably why he took the photo, he was going to let me have my pic of the 3.

We busted a guy in the Navy that had a pubic hair collection. Single hair in each box, with notes on date time and where it was collected. He got sent to the funny farm
