I am looking for something my wife can shoot. She has a hard time racking the slide due to a disability. Does anyone know if the recoil spring is lighter on the .380 then the C9.

    Thanks

They definitely DO NOT use the same spring.

I converted a CF380 to a C9. There is a lot of difference in the springs. The CF380 spring is much lighter than the C9 spring. Making the CF380 much easier to rack. Matter of fact, my wife made me change my C9 conversion back to a CF380 because her arthritis would not let her get that last little bit of "oomph" that was needed to cock the striker in the C9 version.

Hi Point color codes the springs so you can tell them apart at a glance.
