i heard from several people when i lived out there that he was a bodyguard for some high profile people back in the day. can any of you hoosiers vouch for that?

I've been to his shop once, he is creepy. The trick is you rent the gun for $10, you rent the lane for $20+ for half an hour, and you buy their ammo for an ungodly sum of money. I wanted to trade my Bersa and he told me it wasn't worth anything, he'd give me $50 for it, be doing me a favor, blah, blah, blah. He had a few just like mine for over $350. I haven't been back since.

Yep those are HPs they also have a C9 and a 45 you can rent. This is the closest indoor range in my area and the prices are ungodly. Yea Don is a creepy bastard but the other dudes there are cool. They try to sell C9s in the $250 range tho, ridiculous!

Trying to figure out the worst part of that commercial. My initial gut instinct says the laugh at the end, but upon further review the subtle creepy points were the worst: a) The fact that Don looks like a shriveled Colonel Sanders b) the super white dentures that matched the suit c) the fact that the center of the screen says 'we rent guns' in spanish throughout the whole commercial d) that he believes his customer base is stupid enough to think he doesn't want any form of profit.

P.S. The rental fee on those high points probably would have paid for 1/3 of the gun.

I live in Indy and I can tell you without any reservations that Don Davis is scum. He's an ex-heavy for the mob.. He's also been suspected of at LEAST two local murders including a deputy sheriff and a business partner. I'll celebrate the day this maggot dies!!! :evil:

I don't like the way that sounds.

The only reason I would use the creep's service would be If I couldnt decide if I wanted to buy a $1200+ weapon and needed to be absoulutly sure I liked it. Then after testing, I would go buy it someplace else.
