If I am interpreting the rules and what happened to JA, et al correctly there is an LLC doing business as JA in its historical forms and as each LLC came under scrutiny or a lawsuit was filed, the original LLC filed for bankruptcy, a new one was started by a family member with a new FFL, and they took over JA as a new iteration of the same. Then the angry mom lady people and Bloomberg threw a shit ton of money at it, and bought all the existing stock from the last Jennings and had it all destroyed?

Now we have the latest version in JA Industries that the feds actually managed to get in to court and revoke the FFL of that somehow have an FFL again.

It's like the craziest game of 3 card Monty ever and even when the fed managed to find the queen JAI flipped the table and kept the money.

Edit: or would it be the shell game since we're taking shady business stuff? 🤔
I was thinking more like Whack-a-mole; with exactly the same outcome for the same reasons. They keep trying to whack the current iteration of JA and another one pops up but the stupidly try again. It 's the definition of insanity. When the mad mommies et all bought the stock (which I only vaguely remember) I bet JA folks laughed themselves all the way to the bank then downed a couple of beers and started it all over again.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk

Hell the angry karunts buyout probably paid the lawyer's fees and funded the new JA's. I think I'm most impressed that the feds managed to get them in to court and revoke the FFL. I think that might be a sign of the increasingly anti-gun climate as @bumthum pointed out. A sympathetic judge and a hungry A-USA fast tracked the paperwork kind of thing.

As each one of them caught a DV or SO charge. I think Red Jacket was just code for needing to go in to PC as soon as you hit lockup.

I forgot about them, but somebody on this here forum donated a couple of red jacket mags to the Escape From NY fund.

Yet we still can't get a straight Tec-9 or Tec-22 clone that's well made. I'm not against the idea of owning a pink JA-9, but if zombies companies are gonna roam the earth then I'd prefer Cobra or Intratec.

Sooo, I did a bit of online poking about. Acording to the ATF online records the FFL is held by JA Industries LLC, 249 Elliot Rd, Henderson NV and the FFL mailing address leads directly to a residence owned by -wait for it-
Christine Jennis Jimenez & Juan Paul Jimenez Jr. Like father like son?

Right and the JAI from March was the 12th iteration since 1970 something and was owned by Paul Sr.

So yeah! This is lucky 13 and owned by Paul Jr.

I don't hate you.
These SNS pistols are the BDSM of the firearms world... and some of us are into that kinky ZAMAK stuff. Seriously though, the low-tier gunshops in my area never last long enough to take in this kind of goodness used... so I am hoping someone will carry them. As I said though, even finding HiPoints is hard. There is a shop that carries new HiPoints, but they jack the price up (+$50 above market), I suspect there is a legit racist component because it's that kind of gunshop, but I'm not willing to pay a $50 "boomer tax" to get a JA-9... I've just never owned one and want to play around with it... a pink one, or maybe a $100 bill hydro-dip.

There's not a huge margin in low-end guns, which is why shops that have a good trade in higher margin guns often don't carry the cheap stuff. I've seen new HiPoint pistols well over $200 at gun shows recently. I'm charging 10% to a buddy of mine on a Yeet Cannon TB, and after shipping, he's gonna pay me just under $200 before sales tax.

The only larger retailer that still has HiPoints in stock is right around $189 on them, but who knows how long that will last.

Jimmy don't hydrodip. But he will do pink.
And he might ship direct your legit FFL if you buy from him.
