Open up the front of the feed lips a bit until you get a more nose high orientation. The carbines seem to be a bit more forgiving with how the round is oriented in the magazine.
Well, let's look at three other possibilities.this is what i kinda felt had to be the case all along. my 4095 chews em up and spits em out.
ill probably just load and shoot 5 rounds thru the jcp and hopefully, eventually, it gets broken in. whats the best way to open up the feed lips without jacking shit up?
Well the biggest issue I've found with my 4095 is the bottom rounds slide forward and the rim hooks the rim of the upper round, and pulls the nose down. My rounds sit much higher down the full length of the case than his do in that picture.Too late now but with that orientation how can it be the feedramp?
Shoulda started with the mags from the get go.
Anyway you've already got the solution so let's hope it works.
The handguns are notorious for being picky. Carbines, not so much. And honestly, you haven't really "dealt" with any of the issues yet. Just posted pictures and complaints. You haven't even really broken in the handgun. 75 rounds is nothing. Usually takes 200 or so to break in any firearm as far as I'm concerned. That's when the parts have started to wear together and sync up properly.i will try that. just frustrating i have to deal with issues like this with a brand new gun just to get it to shoot with a full mag. had a similar issue with one of my taurus handguns but it resolved quickly as it got broken in.
Read your own first post again. The only clue you've given as to how often you've shot this thing is the aforementioned 75 rounds. You were also told to seat the rounds properly to the rear in the second reply and given all possible fix scenarios to which you've simply taken more pictures and dismissed without trying.i put 75 rounds thru my first hi point with no issues, if you go back and read the original post.
not sure how many rounds thru this one, but im pretty sure its more than 75, and probably closer to 200 than 75. see how it goes at the range tomorrow.![]()
