Ok guys, I received my weekly ad from Cabela's today and they have the JHP(?) 45 ACP for 149.99. I also received a coupon for $15 off any purchase over $50. So I can get the pistol out the door for under $150. With transfer fees from the LGS I cannot beat the price. I will also have the money this week for it.

I have the 4595 so the magazine compatibility is important for me as I have a ton of magazines. So should I bit the bullet and pick it up on Thursday? I am leaning towards yes as I don't think I will be able to beat the deal on a NIB pistol. That and the fact that I don't have a 45 pistol anymore after trading for my CZ75, and we all know that you are not a man is you don't own a 45 pistol. :D:rolleyes:

The sale starts Thursday so I have to wait until then. They have the 9 mm for 129.99 and the 40 for 139.99. But I need a 45 pistol. This will save me a couple bucks over ordering it online so I will jump on it.

The least expensive LGS charges $20 to transfer. I have no clue as to the shipping, but I checked Bob's and CTD and with the sale and coupon I will come out ahead at Cabela's. I do not know if they do online sales.

Did a bit more searching on the internet and I will save about $20 dollars buying it from Cabela's so I will be there first thing Thursday morning.

Hey it's me the Socialist Liberal but I'm still in favor of buying local and supporting your local businesses.
That and I can fondle and check my soon to be new purchase.
Yeah if they send you a lemon you can send it back but it's all aggravation.
    That's worth $20 to me.
Will the RockCreek armory guy match Cabelas price?
Never ordered from him but I know he has a discount for forum members .

Thanks for the heads-up on the Cabela's sale. I just picked up a JCP 40 S&W and a hundred rounds of ammo for under $200 out-the-door at my local Cabela's. Turns out the sale started here in Kentucky on Monday.

Glad to hear it. I am heading there first thing in the morning to get a little brother for my 4595.

  16. Grab it. But here in Tucson I was able to pick mine up from my lgs for $145 for JHP45. I also got a C9 for $139. and I just pick up a CF380 for $135. I do not own the JCP 40 but that was $$145 also. ( Did I say Yet on the JCP40? before Christmas it is mine) Also the 995TS is $289.00 and That's what I paid about 2 month ago. Grab them if you can and never look back.

Well went to Cabela's this morning and had to wait 3 whole minutes for someone to wait on me. Told the guy what I wanted, and he went to the back and grabbed one. Checked it out and said OK I'll take it. Thirty minutes later and $148 lighter I walked out the door with it. Initial impressions are the fit and finish for an inexpensive gun are very good. I am not real impressed with the sights, but I think I will try the ghost ring on it. Trigger pull is long but lighter than I expected and seemed crisp. Overall I don't thing you can do much better for under $150 dollars. So below are the required un-boxing photo as proof.

I too went to Cabelas today. The good news, I picked up an ACP. The bad news, it took almost 2 hours waiting to see the gun and then waiting to check-out.
