first time out with "new" 5 year old pistol.
gun performed as expected.
gun is super accurate,shot to point of aim at 7 yds.
using tulammo 230gr. ball ammo.
smooth trigger, very controllable, easy to stay on target.
kudos to the people at hi-point for a great product.
My own JHP45 isn't my primary range gun, either, but when I take it out, I always finish with a smile. It really is an accurate and reliable budget gun and worth having in the collection.
Congratulations for another successful range report of the JHP...this does not surprise me. Hi Point builds a solid pistol, for the money that they ask for them, hands down.
I've shot my JHP out to 25 yards and it does good. I shot a 50 rd. box of Tula 230 gr. at 25 yards and put them all in a typing paper target. Pretty easy really. Its a good gun.
Consumer minded company that treats ordinary people like their own. Well designed American product that is accurate and durable anyone can afford. Money going back into our own economy supporting American families. How many lives of average Joes have they protected through the years?
Its kind of hard to go wrong with Hi-point. From a priority standpoint they are tops in my book. They do it right. Might not be my favorite handguns but they are unquestionably my favorite firearms manufacturer.
