I was looking forward to the new HP. I was also looking forward to the SCCY DVG. I am guessing COVID has altered the time table a bit.

I hope they make the new yeet c9. I really dig it, and think it has some practical upgrades to their existing products.
That said, I really like their current products. The c9, is no $%&# one of my favorite handguns on the market. I even really like the way it looks and handles. Its unique in the gun world and a solid pistol.

The C9 is pretty good. I got a real good deal on one a while ago. The gun is heavy and somewhat ugly but I have not had any issues. I do think the magazines are not that great though.
The stock grips are a bit slick as well.

One of the reasons I'm excited for the new yeet cannon is the mags. I really think the mags in the current c9 are its biggest Achilles heel.
I hear you on ugly, that's definitely not an uncommon viewpoint. But like I said, I'm a weirdo. I dig its rounded lines. I cant really think of any other pistol that looks like it. Shes a big girl, but shes got some curves lol.

I agree about the mags and slick grip. I just got some grip tape and am eithier going that route or stippling the grip soon.

I have thought about doing one or the other for the C9. I did grip tape on a Cobra Denali. It worked pretty well. I have not tried stippling anything yet.
It would seem that for many SNS pistols the magazines are a major problem.

Yes, the mags for many of our little sns gems are pretty bad, embarrassingly bad.
I really hope 3d printing opens up some easy replacements. People are already printing glock mags.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the Denali.

I am really intrigued by 3D printing. This is an absolutely fascinating video,
And the FGC-9 is pretty cool (I really dig the FGC part
)I like the Denali. I have over 800 rounds through the Denali and I have only changed the recoil spring (not really sure I needed to though as the used one was not much shorter than the new one). I got it used, so I have no idea how many rounds were fired before I got it. The last time I shot it the slide was lagging a bit.
The magazines are garbage though. Before Cobra went belly up, I ordered some extra magazines. The first range session all of new mags broke (into three pieces). And when I sent them back it Cobra forever to return them (I did get them). I did find a place that has after market magazines (looks like a Diamondback magazine, but not for sure): https://www.joespawnshop.net/Cobra-Mags_c15.htm?page=2
I have not tried it yet though as 380 is stupid expensive right now.

According to SCCY's Facebook page the first shipment of DVG's went out June 2020. I have not seen one in person yet.
After a quick look at Hi-Point's Facebook page, I didn't see any updates.
My guess is that SCCY is busy making CPX's like crazy and Hi-Point is busy making their existing products. Both are probably just trying to keep up with demand. And new models will just have wait
