Just picked up a 4095

  1. Well I just picked up a used 4095 of a guy today. Now I can't wait to go shooting. He just got it back from Hi point for a bad firing pin. Only problem I found so far is its so short it doesn't sit right in my gun safe.

Once your ADDICTION kicks in, you'll just go buy a bigger, shorter gun cabinet.
    That's what I did!

I have a couple of paperback books at the end of my cabinet where the stumpy long guns go. Boost them up a bit, and then you'll be able to line them up with the barrel slots.

or buy a wooden dowel to insert into the barrel, its what the lgs does to get the carbines to fit into the rifle racks...

I use 2ea 8" or 10" long hunks of oak 4 x 4 that I get off of pallets at work. That seems to hold em up just about right.

Works great for that extra lift I need for my floor jack as well. lol

Welcome from the great southwest, Fun fun fun!!!

They actually sell magnetic gun barrel racks just for that purpose. I have one in my safe. Works great for my 4095 and others. Just slap it on the wall of the safe right where you need it. It's called "LOCKDOWN", and they are available on Amazon for $11.99. Stupid pic wouldn't load right

  10. I'll have to try the books idea. Right now it is leaned into the corner resting carefully front sight. And was $250 to much to pay for this?

If it was exactly what you wanted, $500 wouldn't have been TOO much!

I have a 4595 TS coming in tomorrow from Colorado for $230 total.

From a private seller or store? At that price I'd buy one.

Pawn shop had it listed for about 3 minutes before I called. They wanted $225 out the door tax included, but since I was out of state, NO tax & the $$$ went towards shipping. The guy said he had never sold a gun that fast on Armslist!

  16. It was a private sale.
