Why are deer not permitted concealable handguns? They Canadian deer?Ohio regulations require any handgun used for deer to have a "barrel length of at least five inches".
I've watched 3 videos. No mention of it taking an optic. Mine will be arriving next week. They did mention having a shorter non threaded barrel option.![]()

Ditto!!I’d love to see one with an optic on it.
They don't need it because they are wearing kevlar. Why are deer not permitted concealable handguns? They Canadian deer?
My first impression. Mag will not drop free. Zero take up in the trigger, it nice. It feels like the grip is smaller than the JHP. It isn't.the trigger pull tested at a low 4.5 pound average of 10 pulls.
I suspect the ODNR was worried about guys with 4" DA and 4 3/4" SA .357 revolvers who did all right, shooting at a 5-gallon bucket, from 10 yards, with .38 Specials, trying to humanely kill deer at 50 yards with .357 loads. Why are deer not permitted concealable handguns? They Canadian deer?
Probably. We don't have any restrictions other than don't use rimfire, but some of our whitetails are smaller than our dogs.I suspect the ODNR was worried about guys with 4" DA and 4 3/4" SA .357 revolvers who did all right, shooting at a 5-gallon bucket, from 10 yards, with .38 Specials, trying to humanely kill deer at 50 yards with .357 loads.
And Ohio deer are fat enough slower bullets can bounce off.
Germany has Fallow deer, we used to joke after running over something in the road, when someone asked what it was, that is was either a large rabbit or a small deer.Probably. We don't have any restrictions other than don't use rimfire, but some of our whitetails are smaller than our dogs.
Knew a Pershing vet who hunted the little European deer w/ a machine gun. I asked him didn't that tear up the meat, he responded you just shot em til they fell down!Germany has Fallow deer, we used to joke after running over something in the road, when someone asked what it was, that is was either a large rabbit or a small deer.
I have no idea. I would try, maybe, some kind of a "generic" chest rig. I really don't plan on carrying this, it's just too big.Any holster recommendations for JXP10 given it's size and weight?
Actually, I would bet it's foot print is just a tad larger than those. I believe it weighs like 6 ounces more too.Good question. I wonder if the Safariland "long wide" GLS univerals would fit? Maybe the Orpaz?
There will probably be an Uncle Mikes that would fit, and I'm sure the tactical taco holsters will fit as well.
Is it bigger than a JCP/JHP? I don't even know.
The Orpaz fits the other HP models, can't see it being much different than the JHP.Good question. I wonder if the Safariland "long wide" GLS univerals would fit? Maybe the Orpaz?
