Im not sure if this is the right area of the forum but since it needs a 4 or 5 in barrel i figured i would post it here.

Cabelas has the multi caliber laser boresight on sale for $39.99 and $49.99 with the scope leveler. I was going to get the 9mm chambered bore sight but figuerd i would give it a try. Ive seen this same one "laserlyte" is the original company and its just has the Cabelas logo and its green.

Very easy to use

Here is a "how to" video from the company that makes them.

With the cost of ammo this really came in handy.

http://www.laserlyte.com is the original website.

I own one like that and find it annoying to use although it DOES work. You have to carefully insert the mandrill and expand it with a tiny screwdriver.
I also own the chambered boresights in several calibers and find them superior although obviously not as versatile since they're caliber-specific.

I have a universal bore site laser I picked up at Wal Mart for $40 and it works great to get you on the paper out to 100yds. Well thats as far as I have used it. Guarenteed to be within 4" at 100yds. I have used it on everything from my .22's to my .45's, even used it on my Mosin to check it when I bought it. Wont exactly zero you right off but it works well to get you on the paper. Works from .22 to .50.
