Dialysis? Buddy of mine just went through this, he opted against dialysis, checked out last week. Godspeed.

That's one way to get out of being taught how to use Google...
It's not over 'til it's over, man. I was 60's / 40's, pissing blood and Guinness, in full acute renal failure 2 years ago this April. They were talking dialysis and a transplant but 72 hours later I was walking out the front doors to my truck and everything was "fine" again.
Be curmudgeonly but do what they suggest and consider all treatment avenues.

I'm assuming this is intended to be encouragement? As in, "you don't need a priest yet, you need dialysis and you'll be OK." ????
