I had my LCP Max on the display case starting to fill out the papers when I realized that the slide would not lock to the rear. There was not another in the case and I just never got around to buying one. The Micro 9 craze got in the way.
You'll just have to wait for the LCP Max II to come out. I'm sure it's already in development.

@lklawson now that you've had the LCP Max for a few months, what's your take on it?
I've been eyeing one but still haven't taken the plunge. I honestly expected that S&W, Taurus, etc. would announce a similar double stack .380 at SHOT, but seeing that isn't the case, I'm back to the Max.

Picked up an LCP Max yesterday at an LGS. Wasn't as cheap as I would've liked it to be, but I wasn't totally screwed over on it and I'm happy to support a local shop.

Wow, the grip sidewalls are really thin on it to accommodate the wider mag. Nevertheless, I agree with Kirk, this is definitely what Kel-Tec should have done with the P3AT. Further, this is what S&W should do with the Bodyguard.

And Hi-Point ought to really study the double-to-single stack magazine design.

Ya I know. I just wanted to say "double-to-single". Some day Hi-Point will figger it out.

Oh, yeah I almost forgot: It's also the same design as the Llama Omni 9mm.
