I think you will like the LCP Max. I want to hear your review.
For me, a big factor in the little 380’s being pleasant to shoot is the width of the grip side to side. The original LCP was very thin and I always thought it stung the hand. While my brothers carried the LCP, I carried the TCP which had a wider grip and was easier to shoot, among other things that I thought was wrong with the LCP.
Ruger fixed all the shortcomings of the LCP with the LCP II, and I went to the Elsea Pea Dos as my primary pocket carry. My guess is the LCP Max is going to be the cream of the crop, not just for capacity, but for manageability as well.
I had my LCP Max on the display case starting to fill out the papers when I realized that the slide would not lock to the rear. There was not another in the case and I just never got around to buying one. The Micro 9 craze got in the way.
