Lever action scopes.

  1. Hey all,

It's been a long while since I've posted. I want to mount a scope on my 30-30 lever action. I'd like some advice on fixed or variable power, what power, objective size ect. My use will be for target shooting, in good light, and the occasional pests. like coyotes.

    30-30 for coyotes? Your call.

Fixed "4x" scopes are good general purpose scopes, but if you want you can get a 1.5-4.5x32mm may be right up your alley, put your hands on one, and get one with an eye relief that suits you the best. Once you find what you want, go here: www.opticsplanet.com and buy it. They have the best prices.
    They range anywhere from a Tasco @ $39.94 to a Burris @ $361.99 (for 1.5-4.5x32mm scopes)
I hope that I helped you a little bit!

  3. I have a 3x9x40 Tasco on my .30-30 and it works great. I have shot many deer with that thing, the furthest shot was roughly 125 yards... Dropped 'em everytime.
  4. Thanks for your imput guys. It's been very helpful.
