Stopped at the LGS this morning and they had IMR powders in 8 pound jugs and Hodgdon powder in 1 pound jugs. Picked up 8 pounds of 4227, ma favorite in 45 Colt, 44 Magnum, 357 Magnum, and works well in 22 Hornet. Got it for $34 per pound.

Still no primers on the shelf.

Heard a guy say that he bought primers online for $0.04 each. He bought 1,000. But he must have had to pay a HASMAT fee on top of shipping.

If you're going to have to pay HASMAT and shipping then only buying one brick seems like a false savings.

But, anyway, it sounds like prices are coming down just a little.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk

Primers were there too, but still $60 per thousand. If they don’t come down soon, I am going th have to cave and buy some. Supply is getting low, about ready to break into the reserves!

My LGS got a powder shipment in as well. He had about 30 or so 1lb bottles and a dozen or so 8lb jugs. He never raised his price on primers, so he never has them. There are guys who damn near camp out in his yard the night before deliveries just to guarantee they get primers.
