im thinking of making an IWB for my second gun.....i have carried my full size 1911 concealed but i am wondering how the bulkier HiPoint will feel.
  5. Ultra neat. We've seen mods to pistols themselves, but this is a _really_ neat, well, fittling holster. Congrats on the work, and thanks so much for the pix!

Not only is the leather workmanship great, but you also have the firearms details down, as per the vents at the bottom. Good work!

thanks for the kind words........i have been hoping one of my hobbies will
get me out of the daily grind and into my garage full time.....i would be interested in making more if there is interest out there

only problem is that i only have my 9 to mold the i am stuck
    with only one pattern........

i also am making 1911 full size holsters....

    oh yea..and leather magazine carriers....for the HiPoint 9 and 1911 45

  7. Nice holster any plans on selling any and could you make one with a mag pouch on it

to step on anyones toes :D

    thanks, andy

if i do make anymore....i will post pics of my progress

also does anyone know if there are the blue training guns made to HiPoint specs? those are good to make other holsters-without actually buying the guns

Very nice work! Hoping to try my hand at something similiar if I EVER get around to the sawed off project.

Either that or I'll send you the specs :p
  12. I think that is really quite awesome worksmanship. I actually think that I like yours better than my current, store-bought holster. I'd definetly be interested in a holster like that for my C9 and a leather mag carrier to go along with it.

  13. Nice workmanship. You got a marketable skill there, dude.

    thanks for the great replies........
working with leather is fun for me..and i am excited to make more
goodies for guns (or knives)(or flashlights)(or multitools)

i can also customize with words(stamped letters) , military branch logo
stamps and can stamp an awesome basketweave pattern

once again, thanks for the warm welcome to this forum and i will put up
pics of my holster tomorrow after i wax and buff it :D

Check with Hi Point they may have a mockup they may sell you or give you of their pistols. I'm not sure.
