A 50 year old man was shot in the abdomen at the Stones River ,TWRA range In Antioch Tn. The man was shooting target practice with his .25 caliber handgun when it Jammed. As he was clearing the jam he accidentally shot himself in the lower abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.

NOTE:*** I would bet money he had his finger on the trigger while clearing the jam otherwise he would not be in the hospital right now. I don't know what it is going to take for people to learn safety. You can never be too safe with a firearm. He most likely knew the weapon inside and out but yet was unsafe with it. This idiot was also a concealed carry person. He should have known better. Now I wasn't there of course but , this one you can armchair quarter back. If you know anything about firearms ,you know he was unsafe with it, barring catastrophic failure of the weapon. To me anytime a weapon has an AD that is not user error it is catastrophic failure.
